<br />shall forward its recommendation, the application and perti- <br /> <br />nent data to the Council. <br /> <br />"Section 46.6 <br /> <br />Council Action. <br /> <br />Upon receipt of the <br /> <br />application and recommendation, the Council shall approve, <br /> <br />conditionally approve or deny the application as the Council <br /> <br />finds appropriate to carry out the objectives of this <br /> <br />ordinance . <br /> <br />The Council may, with the applicant's approval, <br /> <br />approve the plan or a portion thereof on a tentative basis <br /> <br />and such approval will not be complete until the applicant <br /> <br />re-applies and then only to the extent that he receives final <br /> <br />approval on the plan or a portion thereof. <br /> <br />No additional <br /> <br />fee shall be required for such application. <br /> <br />The Council <br /> <br />may refer any application back to the Commission for further <br /> <br />recommendations. <br /> <br />"Section 46.7 <br /> <br />Modifications. <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />In approving any <br /> <br />application the Council, notwithstanding any regulation <br /> <br />otherwise applicable in the district, may permit anyone, or <br /> <br />any combination of the following requirements different from <br /> <br />those which would otherwise apply in the district when it <br /> <br />is determined that the proposed development will provide an <br /> <br />environment of desirability and will be in harmony with the <br /> <br />character of the surrounding neighborhood: <br /> <br />" (1) <br />" (2) <br /> <br />Maximum he ights for structure s <br />Maximum lot cove rage s <br />Minimum building site size s <br /> <br />" (3) <br />" (4) <br /> <br />Minimum front, side, and rear yard requirements <br /> <br />" (b) <br /> <br />Notwithstanding any regulation otherwise applicable <br /> <br />under the basic district zoning, uses in addition to those <br /> <br />otherwise permitted in the district shall be permitted pro- <br />vided that all of the following conditions are complied with: <br /> <br />-3- <br />
