In any district, in connect ion <br />with every building or part-thereof having a gross floor area of 5,000 square <br />feet or more, which building is to be occupied for manufacturing, display, <br />storage or warehousing of goods~ retail sales, a hotel, a hospital, a mortuary, <br />a laundry, a dry cleaning establishment, or other use similarly requiring the <br />receipt or distribution by vehicles of material or merchandise, there shall be <br />provided and maintained, on the same lot with such building, at least one <br />offstreet loading space plus one additional such loading space for each 20,000 <br />square feet of floor area in the building. <br /> <br />. SECTION 30.4 Uses not Specifically Mentioned. (a) In the event off- <br />street parking space requiréTñënts have not been established by this article <br />for any proposed use of any structure or land, the owner of the property shall <br />apply to the Commission for a determination of the required number of spaces <br />prior to the commencement of the use or the obtaining of a building permit in <br />connection therewith. <br /> <br />(b) Applications shall be filed and acted upon in the same manner as <br />provided for in the case of use permits except that no fee shall be required. <br />In the event the proposed use requires the obtaining of a use permit, the <br />Commission shall determine the required number of spaces in connection with <br />its action on the use permit and no separate application shall be required. <br />If the Commission determines that the proposed use is similar to a use for <br />which parking requirements are established by this article, such requirements <br />shall be applicable; otherwise, the Commission shall establish the parking <br />requirements. <br /> <br />56 <br /> <br />~~.- --- ._~._.~~_.. -,,- _._..__._-._-_..__.~_.._._...-.~....._..d -._u.--..... .~_.~--~.~....~.. <br />
