<br />ARTICLE 48 <br /> <br />APPEALS <br /> <br />SECTION 48.l Filing. Any person aggrived by the action of any <br />trative official involved in the administration of this ordinance or <br />person aggrived by the action of any administrative body involved in <br />istration or enforcement of this ordinance may appeal such action to <br />unless otherwise provided in this ordinance. <br /> <br />adminis- <br />any <br />the admin- <br />the Council <br /> <br />SECTION 48.2 Method of Appeal. Every appeal must be made in writing and <br />filed with the City Clerk within seven days of the final decision or determination <br />of the body or official whose action is being appealed. The appeal shall state <br />the grounds upon which the appeal is made and shall be accompanied by any <br />supporting information the appellant wishes considered during the appeal. <br /> <br />SECTION 48.3 Fee. The written notice of appeal shall be accompanied by <br />a nonrefundable fee of Ten Dollars ($10.00) if the appeal is from the deter- <br />mination of any administrative official of the City or shall be accompanied by <br />a nonrefundable fee of Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00) if the appeal is from any <br />administrative body of the City. <br /> <br />SECTION 48.4 Notice of Appeal. Upon filing of an appeal, the City Clerk <br />shall give written notice of such appeal to the administrative officer or body <br />whose action is being appealed and shall notify such officer or body of time <br />and place of the hearing thereon. The City Clerk shall, in every case, notify <br />the Building and Planning Departments of such appeal immediately following its <br />filing. <br /> <br />SECTION 48.5 Action on Appeal. The City Councilor other administrative <br />body hearing any appeal may affirm, reverse or modify the decision or determin- <br />ation being appealed as it deems just and equitable and the ruling or determin- <br />ation thereof shall be final. The Council may~ penàing final determination <br />of any appeal, require the Commission or any administrative official to submit <br />its recommendations to the Council. <br /> <br />SECTION 48.6 <br />provided, however, <br />public interest by <br />is from any action <br /> <br />Public Hearing. No building or <br />zoning permit shall be issued for any building or use of land involved in an <br />appealable administrative action during the period specified for appealing such <br />action.
