To provide oversight to the work of four ongoing coalitions including: the <br />Peninsula Partnership For Children, Youth and Families; Redwood City <br />Heålthy Start Network, the Violence Prevention Program and the Teen <br />Pregnancy Coalition of San Mateo County and partnership activities in the <br /> <br />High School District. <br />C. Secure the participation of members of the community in the Redwood City <br />2000 Community Action and Resource Council Community Strategic <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Planning and implementation effort. <br />TERM. This agreement shall be binding on the Parties upon execution of this <br />Agreement by all Parties. This agreement shall be effective July 1, 1998 and shall <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />continue in effect through June 30, 1999. <br />TERMINATION. Any party may withdraw from this Agreement by giving the <br />other Parties sixty (60) days written notice. The rights and obligations of the <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />terminating party terminate sixty (60) days after notice is given. <br />STRUCTURE OF THE REDWOOD CITY 20000 COMMUNITY ACTION <br /> <br />AND RESOURCE COUNCIL. <br /> <br />~.,.. ", .,. <br /> <br />A. The Operations Committee: Representatives of each of the Parties (the <br />"Operations Committee") shall meet monthly. <br /> <br />.. <br />.. 1. The Operations Committee shall be composed of one representative from <br />the County, one representative of the City, one representative each of the school <br />districts, one representative from the nonprofit sector and the Chair of the <br /> <br />Community Action and Resource Council <br />2. The Operations Committee shall have the following functions: <br />a) Recruit and hire and/or contract for a coordinator, neighborhood <br /> <br />coordinator and any related support staff for the project. <br />b) Provide leadership for the Community Action and Resource Council. <br /> <br />'. ,,: ,.,.
