<br />1. Facilitate communication and skill building between local <br />collaboratives, coalitions and task forces and community volunteer <br /> <br />teams; <br />"2. Facilitate strategic planning process through the provision of staff <br />support to the Community Action and Resource Council; <br /> <br />3. Synthesize community organization strategies including organizing <br />focus groups, surveys, needs assessments and town hall meetings; <br />4. Assist in developing collaborative grant applications. <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />ORGANIZATIONAL STRATEGIES. <br /> <br />The Community Action and Resource Council shall direct its efforts towards Redwood <br />City and its immediate sphere of influence. <br /> <br />The Community Action and Resource Council will endeavor to work with already <br />existing organizations and structures within the community to maintain a commitment to <br />reducing the duplication and fragmentation of services. <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />REDWOOD CITY 2000 COMMUNITY ACTION AND RESOURCE <br /> <br />COUNCIL STAFF: It is understood th~t the. Çommunity Action and Resource Council <br />will require the services of a Project Coordinator and related support staff. <br />A. The Operations Committee will designate the City to contract for the <br /> <br />Project Coordinator, Neighborhood Coordinator, and necessary staff on behalf of <br />the Committee. <br />B. The County, Elementary School District and High School District agree to <br />transfer to City, their initial contributions in the amount of Fifteen Thousand and <br /> <br />500/100 dollars ($15,500.00) each, within sixty (60) days of the date of this <br />Agreement. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />, 0" ,> .'
