The Quality Control Manager's pnmary <br />responsibility is to seek for any major "fatal" flaws. <br /> <br />Q Intennediate Design Submittals: <br /> <br />~ Plans are reviewed for confonnity to standards, consistency, and appropriate design <br />approach. <br /> <br />~ Design and calculations are checked. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />All related correspondence and memoranda are routed and received by affected <br />persons and then filed in the appropriate file. <br /> <br />Where different disciplines are involved, steps will be taken to assure that conflicts <br />and mis-alignment do not exist. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />CJ Final Design Submittal <br /> <br />~ The Quality Control Manager shall perfonn an independent review of the final <br />PS&E for constructibility. <br /> <br />~ All plans, calculations, documents, and other items submitted shall be marked <br />clearly as being fully checked, and that the preparation of the material has followed <br />the quality control plan established for the work. <br /> <br />Project Management Deliverables: <br /> <br />1 copy of the Quality Control Plan <br />1 copy of the project files <br />5 copies of the CPM Chart <br />1 copy of monthly schedule updates <br />2 copies of the Record of Minutes plus distribution <br />3 copies of Monthly Progress Reports and invoices <br /> <br />Task 3 - Preliminary Engineering Phase <br /> <br />Task Description. The first item of work in this task will be to assemble and review the existing <br />data. The remaining focus of this task is to perfonn field surveys, technical studies, and prepare <br />geometric approval drawings. <br /> <br />3.1 Data Gathering. Assemble all available data from the City and Caltrans, including <br />previous studies, as-buiIts, air photos, parcel maps, records of survey, available utility <br />maps, assessor's maps, etc. Verify intersection channelization patterns, street lighting <br />standards and equipment, major activity centers, pedestrian activity, and bicycle and <br />parking usage. <br /> <br />Review data and develop data request log.
