<br />Right-of-way requirements will be determined from preliminary geometric plans, profiles, <br />and cross-sections. Requirements will be reviewed with the existing right-of-way limits for <br />confirmation of right-of-way sufficiency. <br /> <br />Deliverables: 2 reproducibles of 1000 scale preliminary geometric approval drawings <br />10 bluelines of 500 scale geometric approval drawings <br />5 copies of typical sections on separate 80 0 X 11" sheets <br /> <br />3.10 Bridge Type Selection. Design of bridges will be coordinated with the Externally <br />Financed Projects Branch of Caltrans Division of Structures. The following procedures <br />shall be followed: <br /> <br />(J Perform site surveys, as necessary, to determine existing topography and also to <br />establish construction survey controls for bridge layout and its relationship to the <br />existing structure. <br /> <br />(J Prepare advance bridge planning study. Review various alternatives and seek input <br />from Caltrans DOS. Select the most viable bridge alternative and prepare the Type <br />Selection Report. <br /> <br />(J Prepare the Bridge General Plan. <br /> <br />(J Attend type selection meeting. <br />(J Update and finalize General Plan. <br /> <br />Deliverables: 5 copies of draft Type Selection Report <br />8 copies of Final Report and 20 copies of the General Plan <br />6 copies of Foundation Report <br /> <br />3.1 Environmental Process <br /> <br />Consultant shall undertake the environmental scope of services. The Scope of Work includes <br />the review of existing documents, and utilizing these documents as a basis for completing the <br />environmental document. The general scope includes the preparation environmental <br />reevaluation/addendum to be adopted by City of Belmont. <br /> <br />The following technical studies are likely to be required by Caltrans District 04: <br /> <br />.:. Air Quality Analysis. Based on the traffic forecast and existing traffic data, prepare a <br />qualitative air quality analysis for one alternative. A qualitative air quality analysis will be <br />conducted on all other alternatives. The air quality analysis will conform to FHW A's <br />guidelines for performing the qualitative air quality analysis. Prepare the draft and final <br />reports. <br /> <br />.:. Natural Environment Study Report (NESR).
