The public meeting will provide information about, but not limited to, project design requirements, impacts, project status, a presentation of conceptual geometries, schedule, financing, and safety issues. 3.3 City Council Meeting. The Consultant shall attend one City Council Meeting subsequent to the Public Meeting. The Consultant shall organize the comments received from the public and be prepared to present the conceptual geometries and public comments received. Task 4 Final Design 4.1 Preparation of Plans, Specifications and Estimates (PS&E). The final construction plans developed shall be based on and extend the design elements that were developed and approved in the preliminary engineering phases of this project. Plans shall be prepared on the AutoCAD Release 14 format and using Imperial (English) units. Plans - During the development of the final construction plans, submittals for review shall be made at design completion levels of 65%,90%, and 100% (Final). Submittals shall be made to the City, affected utility companies, and other identified reviewing agencies as required. The Consultant shall provide the City with five (5) copies of each review submittal, in addition to the copies required for other reviewing agencies and utility companies. A list of the final design drawings is anticipated to include the following: Description Scale Title Sheet and Location Map Var Typical Sections Var Key Map and General Notes N/A Survey Control 1" = 200' Clearing and Grubbing/Demolition 1" = 1 DO' Layout Plans/Profiles 1"=20' Construction Details Var Utility Plans (including storm drainage) 1"=20' Utility Profiles and Details (including storm drainage) 1"=20' Stage Construction and Traffic Handling Plans 1"=40' Signing and Striping Plans and Details 1"=20' Landscape and Irrigation Plans and Details 1"=20' Traffic Signal Plans (incl. Conductor Sch & Det) 1"=20' 65% Submittal - The 65% submittal drawings generally represent the complete final design, with all elements present including outline technical specifications and special provisions, contract quantities, and preliminary estimate of construction cost. Also included will be the draft right-of-way requirements and preliminary utility requirements and relocations. Not all project details will be included in this submittal.
