1 (5) STATE is willing to bear all of the preliminary <br />2 engineering cost of PROJECT and the construction engineering cost <br />3 of PROJECT not borne by FAU funds. <br />4 SECTION I <br />5 STATE AGREES: <br />6 (1) To provide plans and specifications and all <br />? necessary construction engineering services for the PROJECT and t¢ <br />8 bear all of the e×pense thereof, after deducting any PAU <br />9 participation. <br />lO (2) To construct the PROJECT by contract in accordance <br />ll with plans and specifications of STATE. <br />12 (3) To furnish and install, by STATE's forces, all <br />13 traffic striping and pavement marking required for PROJECT. <br />14 (4) To maintain and operate the entire traffic control <br />15 signal system and safety lighting as installed and pay an amount <br />16 equal to 67 percent of the total costs. <br />17 (5) Upon presentation of acceptable documentation by <br />18 CITY to accept the CITY-acquired additional rights-of-way for <br />19 PROJECT. <br />20 SECTION II <br />21 CITY AGREES: <br />22 (1) To deposit with STATE within 25 days of receipt of <br />23 bi~ling therefor (which billing will be forwarded immediately <br />2~ following STATE's bid advertising date of a construction contract <br />25 for PROJECT), the a~nount of $28,000, which figure represents <br /> --2-- <br /> <br /> <br />
