1 SECTION IV <br /> <br /> 2 COUNTY AGREES: <br /> <br />3 1.) To deposit with STATE within 30 days of receipt of <br />~ billing therefor (which billing will be forwarded immediately <br />5 following STATE's bid advertising date of a construction contract <br />6 for the aforesaid IMPROVEHENTS), the amount of $16S,600, which <br />? figure represents STATE's estimate of COUNTY's share of the <br />8 construction cost and right of way acquisition cost required to <br />9 complete the said IHPROVDIENTS after deducting the Federal-Aid <br />10 Urban funds applied towards the construction and right of way <br />11 costs pursuant to this Agreement. Actual cost to be borne by <br />12 COUNTY will be determined upon completion of all work and shall <br />13 be 50 percent of the total matching fund towards the construction <br />1~ cost and $0 percent of the matching right of way acquisition cost <br />15 required for completion of said I~PROVEMENTS including traffic <br />16 stripes and pavement markings, STATE-furnished materials, and any <br />17 extra or additional work directly related to the said <br />18 IMPROVEMENTS. <br />19 2.) In the event that the total cost to COUNTY including an~ <br />20 costs by virtue of Section V, Article (5) to be computed at the <br />21 time of bid opening does not exceed the present estimated amount <br />~'~ of $165,600 by more than.10 percent, STATE may award a contract <br />23 for aforesaid project. If, however, said estimated total cost <br />2~ of $165,600 is exc6eded by more than 10 percent, STATE shall <br />25 consult with COUNTY and upon written consent of COUNTY to assume <br /> <br /> <br />
