1 shall be responsible for any damage or liability occurring by <br />2 reason of anything done or omitted to be done respectively by <br />3 REDWOOD CITY, SAN CARLOS, or COUNTY under or in connection with <br />~ any work, authority or jurisdiction delegated to REDWOOD CITY, <br />5 SAN CARLOS or COUNTY under this Agreement. It is also understood <br />6 and agreed that, pursuant to Government Code Section 895.4, <br />? REDWOOD CITY, and/or SAN CARLOS, and/or COUNTY shall fully <br />8 indemnify and hold STATE harmless from any liability imposed for <br />9 injury (as defined by Government Code Section 810.8) occurring by <br />10 reason of anything done or omitted to be done by REDWOOD CITY, <br />11 and/or SAN CARLOS and/or COUNTY under or in connection with any <br />12 work, authority or jurisdiction delegated to REDWOOD CITY, <br />13 SAN CARLOS, or COUNTY under this Agreement. <br />l~ 5.) That neither REDWOOD CITY, nor SAN CARLOS nor COUNTY <br />15 nor any officer or employee thereof, is responsible for any <br />16 damage or liability occurring by reason of anything done or <br />1~ omitted to be done by STATE under or in connection with any work <br />18 authority or jurisdiction not delegated to REDWOOD CITY, SAN <br />19 CARLOS or COUNTY under this Agreement.
