1 reinforced concrete box (RCB) culvert and other highway drainage <br />2 Facilities; and relocate a SAN CARLOS-owned fire alarm facility; <br />3 ill to be referred to hereinafter as "IMPROVEMENTS"; and <br />~ WHEREAS, completion of said I~{PROVE~ENTS (as shown on <br />5 ~xhibits "A" and "B", attached hereto and by this reference made <br />6 part of this Agreement) will result in improved service for <br />? existing traffic; will provide connection for REDWOOD CITY <br />8 proposed extension of Peninsula Parkway to Holly Street <br />9 Interchange; will continue staging toward ultimate cloverleaf <br />10 interchange as provided for in the original Freeway Agreements <br />11 of 19S2; and will improve aircraft glide-pattern over roadway; and <br />12 WHEREAS, this projeqt will be financed by funds from Federal- <br />13 Aid Urban Program, and matching funds from REDWOOD CITY, <br />1~ SAN CARLOS, and COUNTY. The Urban funds to be applied toward the <br />15 project shall be 83 percent (or the Federal reimbursement <br />16 )ercentage in effect at the time of programming) of the <br />17 :onstruction, right of way acquisition and utility relocation <br />18 costs; and <br />19 ~tEREAS, COUNTY requires avigation easements over lands <br />20 ~hown on Exhibit "C", attached hereto and, by this reference, <br />121 lade a part of this Agreement; and <br />22 WHEREAS, RED~OOD CITY, SAN CARLOS and STATE desire to <br />23 dedicate the required avigation easements; and <br /> <br /> <br />
