1 WHEREAS, REDWOOD CITY, SAN CARLOS, COUNTY and STATE desire <br />2 to cooperate and specify herein the terms and conditions under <br />3 ~hich said IMPROVEMENTS are to be designed, constructed, financed <br />~ and maintained. <br />5 NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants and <br />6 conditions herein contained, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br />? <br />8 SECTION I <br />9 STATE AGREES: <br />10 1.) To furnish the design engineering, at STATE's sole <br />11 expense, necessary for preparation of plans, specifications and <br />12 engineer's estimate for the IMPROVEMENTS referred to herein. <br />13 2.) To furnish the construction engineering, at STATE's <br />1~ sole expense, necessary for the construction of the I~PROVEMENTS <br />15 referred to herein. <br />16 3.) To perform, at STATE's sole expense, the right of way <br />17 engineering for acquisition of additional right of way required <br />18 for construction of said IMPROVEMENTS. <br />19 4.) To acquire in STATE's name, with the matching <br />20 acquisition cost to be shared by COUNTY and REDWOOD CITY, the <br />121 additional right of way,required for construction of said <br />22 IMPROVEMENTS. <br />23 5.) To perfoYm, at STATE's sole expense, the design <br />2~ engineering necessary for developing an Environmental Study. <br /> <br /> <br />
