The cost of <br />2 all utility relocations not borne by utility owners within <br />3 STATE's right of way, {except SAN CARLOS and REDWOOD CITY-owned <br />4 utilities), shall, after deducting any Federal reimbursement be <br />5 shared SO percent by COUNTY and SO percent by REDWOOD CITY. The <br />6 cost of relocating REDWOOD CITY-owned utility facilities shall, <br />? after deducting any Federal participation, be borne by REDWOOD <br />8 CITY. The cost of relocating SAN CARLOS-owned utility facilities <br />9 shall after deducting any Federal participation, be borne by <br />10 SAN CARLOS. <br />ll SAN CARLOS or its authorized representative will have the <br />12 right to inspect the fire alarm work as it progresses. Upon <br />13 completion of the work, SAN CARLOS agrees to assume responsibilit <br />14 for the operation and maintenance of the relocated fire alarm <br />15 facilities. There are no betterment or depreciation credits <br />16 involved in this fire alarm relocation work. Any credits for <br />17 salvage shall be considered as included in the contract price for <br />18 performing the work. <br />19 9.) To maintain, at STATE's sole expense, all existing <br />20. facilities and the portion of the IMPROVEMENTS constructed within <br />121 STATE's no access line and limits of relinquishment as shown on <br />22 Exhibits A and B, including the entire structure below the top of <br />23 the concrete deck 'surface exclusive of any bituminous surface <br />24 treatment thereon, and above the concrete deck surface, to <br />25 maintain screening which is designed to prevent objects from <br /> <br /> <br />
