1 complete the said IMPROVEHENTS after d~ducting the Federal-Aid <br />2 Urban funds applied towards the construction and right of way <br />3 cost pursuant to this Agreement. Actual cost to be borne by <br />~ REDWOOD CITY will be determined upon completion of all work and <br />5 shall be 37.84 percent of the total matching fund towards the <br />6 construction cost and $0 percent of the matching right o£ way <br />? acquisition cost required for completion of said IMPROVE~ENTS <br />8 including traffic stripes and pavement markings, STATE-furnished <br />9 materials, and any extra or additional work directly related to <br />10 the said IMPROVEMENTS. <br />11 2.) In the event that the total cost to REDWOOD CITY to be <br />12 computed at time of bid opening does not exceed the present <br />13 estimated amount of $127,100 by more than 10 percent, STATE may <br />1~ award a contract for aforesaid project. If, however, said <br />15 estimated total cost of $127,100 is exceeded by more than 10 <br />16 percent STATE shall consult with REDWOOD CITY and upon written <br />17 consent of REDWOOD CITY to assume the additional cost and <br />18 deposit of additional funds upon billing by STATE, STATE may <br />19 award the aforesaid contract. <br />20 3.) To maintain all existing facilities and the portion of <br />.21 the said I~PROVE~ENTS constructed within REDWOOD CITY's right of <br />22 way including any additional right of way relinquished by STATE <br />23 to REDWOOD CITY upon completion of the project and make no claim <br />2~ against STATE for ~ny portion of such maintenance expense. <br />~5 ~.)
