Dist. Ag .... No. 4-0941-C <br />(2) It is anticipated that Federal-Aid Urban (FAU) funds <br />will be allocated to finance a portion of the construction cost, <br />as shown on EXHIBIT B, attached hereto and made a part of this <br />agreement. <br /> <br /> (3) STATE is willing to bear a portion of the <br />construction cost of IMPROVEMENTS, as shown on EXHIBIT B, and <br />will do and pay all of the costs for providing preliminary <br />engineering (preparation of environmental studies and plans, <br />specifications and estimates) and construction ~ngineering. <br /> <br /> (4) COUNTY, REDWOOD CITY and SAN CARLOS are willing <br /> <br />to bear the remaining construction costs for IMPROVEMENTS, as <br />shown on EXHIBIT B. <br /> <br /> (5) COUNTY is willing to bear 50 percent and REDWOOD <br />CITY is willing to bear 50 percent of all utility protection, <br /> <br />relocation and/or removal, within STATE's right of way. <br /> (6) No additional right of way is required. <br /> <br /> (7) This agreement sets forth the terms and conditions <br />under which IMPROVEMENTS are to be designed, constructed, financed <br />and maintained. <br /> <br /> SECTION I <br /> <br />STATE AGREES: <br /> <br /> (1) To provide environmental studies, plans and <br />specifications for the IMPROVEMENTS and all necessary construction <br />engineering services, all at STATE's sole expense. <br /> <br /> (2) To construct the IMPROVEMENTS by contract in <br />accordance with plans and specifications of STATE. <br /> <br /> --2-- <br /> <br /> <br />
