Fiscal Year 2004/2005 Appropriation Revisions Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council introduce an ordinance by the affirmative vote of five- sevenths (5/7'" ) of all Council Members appropriating and transferring certain funds for specified purposes in order to conform the budgeted amounts to actual expenditures approved for transactions, which have occurred during fiscal year 2004/2005. Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement for Professional Services with Freedman, Tung & Bottomley (FTB) Urban Design for professional consulting services for the Downtown Precise Plan. Council Member Hartnett stated his general concern that the City watch the use of consultants and not overuse them, watching the extended hours used compared to what staff can do. He further stated that the City Manager assured him that the services should keep the costs under $30,000.00 and not require any additional amendments. Recommendation: M/S Hartnett/Bain to approve Amendment No. 1 to Agreement for Professional Services with Freedman, Tung and Bottomley (FTB) for providing additional consultant services related to the preparation of a Precise Plan for Downtown Redwood City, in an amount not to exceed $30,000.00.
