<br />out the relocation, whether or not 100% of these funds are disbursed <br />in lump sum, and an accurate accounting of the relocation cost plus <br />administrative fees will be forwarded to the property owner and to the <br />Finance Director who shall be responsible for filing the tax lien with <br />the County of San Mateo Tax Collector. Administrative fees shall be <br />established by the Finance Director in conjunction with the Building <br />Official and Housing and Redevelopment Director. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Within - days from the effective date of the Resolution, the Housing and <br />Redevelopment Division will serve the owner of the subject property, a <br />Notice to Property Owner Regarding Obligation to Pay Relocation Costs <br />(Exhibit V) to the property owner. The Notice will: <br /> <br />a. <br /> <br />Confirm that Council action to demolish/convert affected building <br />located at <br /> <br />b. <br /> <br />Confirm applicability of Ordinance #2048 <br /> <br />c. <br /> <br />Confirm that tenants will be contacted and advised of eligibility and <br />application process. <br /> <br />d. <br /> <br />Confirm responsibility of paying for relocation costs. <br /> <br />e. <br /> <br />Estimate costs and request payment within ten days from the date of <br />Notice and advise of right to appeal determination to City Council. <br /> <br />f. <br /> <br />Define how to deposit funds. <br /> <br />g. <br /> <br />Advise that if payment or appeal is not made in ten days, City will <br />advance funds and lien property. <br /> <br />h. <br /> <br />Advise of appeal process. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />The City reserves the right to make a determination that prolonging continued <br />occupancy of the tenants, while an owner submits an appeal, would be <br />detrimental to the health and safety of the tenants and relocation should, <br />therefore, proceed as soon as a replacement unit is located for the household. <br /> <br />7 <br /> <br />.----...... ...----- <br />
