<br />of demolition. If available. name(s) , number of households per unit, and unit <br />number(s) of tenants residing in the property should also be provided. Upon receipt <br />of said notices, the Housing and Redevelopment Division will implement the actions <br />stated herein in accordance with the Relocation Ordinance. <br /> <br />PARTID <br />NOTIFICATION TO OWNER AND <br />TENANTS REGARDING APPLICABILITY OF RELOCATION <br />ORDINANCE - NON-RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT <br /> <br />Displacement of tenants in non-residential development is initiated by the Developer. The <br />Developer shall give written Notice of Planned Non-Residential Development, a general <br />relocation notice (Exhibit I) to the tenants occupying the residential units to be <br />demolished/converted, within 5 days following the date of application. The Notice (in <br />a form approved by the Director) advises the tenants of the proposed development and <br />their rights to assistance as provided under the Ordinance. The Housing and <br />Redevelopment Division will provide the Developer with sample language intended to <br />meet the requirements for information contained in the Notification process. It shall also <br />be the responsibility of the Housing and Redevelopment Director, or his/her designee, to <br />calculate and disburse funds necessary to carry out the physical relocation process. <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />GENERAL RELOCATION NOTICE <br /> <br />The Notice of Planned Non-Residential Development, the general notice (Exhibit <br />I) would be provided by the Developer to very low and low income (see <br />Household Income under Definitions, Part VII, for income range by household <br />size) tenants within 5 days from the date a developer submits an application to the <br />Planning Division for approval. This notice will advise the tenant(s) that: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The Developer has submitted an application for a non-residential <br />development, <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />If the application is approved, the building they currently occupy will be <br />demolished/ converted to other than residential use, <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />If demolished or converted, very low and low income tenants would be <br />entitled to assistance under the Relocation Ordinance, and <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />They will receive instructions within - days as to whether the project will <br />proceed. <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br /> <br />. .-... - --~ .-. .,. <br />
