<br />Affirmative Action.

<br />Contractor certifies that it is in compliance with the Equal Employment
<br />Opportunity Requirements of Executive Order No 11246, as smended by
<br />Executive Order No 1375, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1 £64, the California
<br />Fair Employment Practices Act and any other federal or state laws pertaining to
<br />equal employment opportunity, and that it will not discriminate against any
<br />employee or applicant for employment or opportunity to purchase the dwelling to
<br />be built on the "property." on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin,
<br />ancestry, sex, age, physical or mental disability, marital status, sexual

<br />Fair Emplovment Practices

<br />(1) In the performance of this contract, the Contractor agrees to not
<br />discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race,
<br />religion, color, national origin, ancestry, sex, age, physical or mental disability,
<br />marital status, sexual preference, or political affiliation. The contractor agrees to
<br />take affirmative action to ensure that applicants are employed, and th¡t
<br />employees are treated during employment, without regard to their race, religion,
<br />color, national origin, ancestry, sex, age, physical or mental disability, marital
<br />status, sexual preference, or political affiliation. Such action shall include, but
<br />not be limited to the following: employment, upgrading, demotion or transfers;
<br />recruitment or recruitment advertising; layoff or termination; rates of payor other
<br />forms of compensation; and selection for training, including apprenticeship. The
<br />Contractor agrees to post in conspicuous places, available to employees and
<br />applicants for employment, notices to be provided by the City of Redwood City
<br />setting forth the provisions of this Fair Employment Practices section.

<br />(2) The Contractor agrees to permit access to his records of
<br />employment, employment advertisements, application forms, and other pertinent
<br />data and records by the State Fair Employment Practices Commission, or any
<br />other agency of the State of California designated by the awarding authority, for
<br />the purposes of investigation to ascertain compliance with the Fair Employment
<br />Practices section of this contract.

<br />Contractor hereby agrees that it will comply with the provisions of Section
<br />504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, providing equal access and
<br />reasonable accommodations in employment programs and services to persons
