Construction Contract Administration <br /> <br /> 5.1 Establish and maintain coordination procedures. Conduct a <br /> preconstruction conference to establish administrative procedures <br /> and implement a short-term schedule of activities for project <br /> mobilization. Distribute the CAM to the appropriate parties. <br /> Prepare and distribute minutes to all attendees. <br /> <br /> 5.2 Conduct and record job meetings. Establish, chair, take minutes, <br /> and monitor the follow-up of monthly job meetings. <br /> <br /> 5.3 Maintain project records and documentation. Maintain detailed <br /> records of the project including daily logs, inspection reports, <br /> photos, measurements of quantities, schedules, and correspondence. <br /> <br /> 5.4 Status reporting syste~,. Prepare and submit to the City a monthly <br /> progress report. An}' significant variances between planned and <br /> actual results will receive appropriate attention and corrective <br /> action will be recommended. <br /> <br /> 5.5 Assist in the negotiation of change orders with the Contractor. <br /> Represent the City's interest in change orders. <br /> <br />6. Provide Field Observation for Conformance Plans and <br /> to <br /> Specifications <br /> <br /> Provide construction observation to monitor conformance of the <br /> Contractor's work with plans and specifications. Report nonconformance <br /> and construction deficiencies to the Contractor and to the City. <br /> Whenever there is a question of interpretation of the plans and <br /> specifications, obtain the Design Team's interpretation. <br /> <br />7. Estimating <br /> <br /> Estimate the added or reduced cost and time of changes during <br /> construction to be used in change orders to the contract. <br /> <br /> <br />
