Greg Miller stated his disturbance is related to not being notified about the tree <br /> planting. He stated that a tree in the middle of his lawn is not going to be an <br /> improvement. <br /> <br /> Carol Baranchini stated that the tree to be planted would be placed along with her <br /> two existing trees. She further stated she has already removed a tree on <br /> Barkentine that was tilting and does not need another one in that area. <br /> <br /> Doug Eckles likes trees but stated the planting should be on a case by case basis <br /> and looked at in relationship to location. <br /> <br /> Consensus by Council was to not go forward with the tree planting at this time, <br /> and to agendize the item for discussion and possible action at a later date. <br /> <br />10. GID 1-64 Development Agreement Extension: (511) <br /> <br /> Senior Civil Engineer Chang stated that the purpose of the item is to receive <br /> public input and direction from Council on the concept of the structure for the new <br /> committee. He further stated that no approval of legal documents is being sought <br /> at this time. He stated that the concept for extending the development agreement <br /> is to be discussed at this time for 2002-2005. He continued to explain the <br /> background on the subject. <br /> <br /> Mr. Chang stated the new proposal for a committee management structure would <br /> be comprised of one member from Redwood Shores Owners Association, one <br /> member from Redwood Shores Business Center Association, one member from <br /> Redwood Shores Homeowners Association, one developer and two City staff <br /> members. <br /> <br /> Council asked various questions regarding the sunset clause <br /> <br /> Mayor Claire opened the public hearing. <br /> <br /> Patricia Dixon stated that Terry Anderlini and the Board did vote to support the <br /> restructuring of the GID funds.
