At tnis time. the City does notfuUy comply <br />With the Equal BenefItS provision requested for contraCtS with San Mateo County. <br /> <br />The City of Redwood City would like to request a Waiver far trle I;qual BenefItS Provisioo. Although the <br />City of Redwood City l1oes have a domestic partners polic:Y and provides medical benefItS for domestIC. <br />partners, this policy IS not In full compliance with the reqUIrements outiineQ in tile Equal BenefItS <br />Provision. <br /> <br />Currently the City tlas five Þargaining ul1l~ agreementS mat delIneate benefitS provided to each of their <br />respective members. All benefit enl1ancements'are generally negotiated during contract negotiations for <br />eaCh of the bargaining groups.
