6e IVON-DISCRIMINATIOR9 Contractor shall comply with the non-discrimination requirements described below: A. Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (1) Pursuant to Section 514 (Public Law 93-112), the Contractor agrees that no otherwise qualified persons with disabilities shall, solely by reason of a disability, be excluded from the participation in, be denied benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination in the performance of this contract or in the selection of low income owners to purchase the dwelling to be built on the "Property." (2) Compliance of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, requires that all benefits, aids and services are made available to persons with disabilities on an equivalent basis with those received by non-disabled persons. Contractor shall agree to be in compliance with Section 504 requirements by developing a plan for compliance to be submitted to the Section 504 Coordinator as soon as possible but not later than by the close of escrow for this acquisition. B. Affirmative Action. Contractor certifies that it is in compliance with the Equal Employment Opportunity Requirements of Executive Order No 11246, as amended by Executive Order No 1375, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the California Fair Employment Practices Act and any other federal or state laws pertaining to equal employment opportunity, and that it will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment or opportunity to purchase the dwelling to be built on the "property." on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, ancestry, sex, age, physical or mental disability, marital status, sexual preference, or political affiliation in matters pertaining to occupancy, hiring, training, upgrading, transfers, compensation or termination.
