<br />FXS:dft <br /> <br />"09/93 (010/33) <br />, 14/93R <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />In <br /> <br />connection <br /> <br />with <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />adoption <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />that <br /> <br />certain <br /> <br />ordinance <br /> <br />entitled, <br /> <br />"Ordinance <br /> <br />Adding <br /> <br />Sections <br /> <br />9.47 <br /> <br />9.51, <br /> <br />Inclusive To Article IV of Chapter 9 of the Code of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City, Amending Specified Sections of the Uniform Building <br /> <br />Code, <br /> <br />1991 <br /> <br />Edition, <br /> <br />Relating <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />Roofing <br /> <br />Standards <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Construction", it is hereby expressly found and determined that <br /> <br />the modifications, deletions and additions made to the aforesaid <br /> <br />Code as <br /> <br />set forth in said ordinance are reasonably necessary <br /> <br />because of local climatic, geological or topographical conditions <br />as set forth in the Findings of Facts set forth in Exhibit "A" <br /> <br />hereof, and incorporated by reference. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />The aforesaid local amendment is enacted pursuant to the <br /> <br />authority of Section 17958.5 of the California Health and Safety <br /> <br />Code, for the purposes of addressing and meeting certain local <br /> <br />conditions unique and peculiar to the City of Redwood City, which <br />are more specifically described in the Finding of Facts set forth <br /> <br />in Exhibit A. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />transmit a certified copy of this resolution, <br /> <br />together with a <br /> <br />copy of the ordinance referenced in paragraph 1 hereof to the <br />California Department of Housing and Community Development. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />12068 <br />
