This problem site will
require an annual renewal of the "Abatement Services Agreement" due to structure of
the storm drain system.

The "Abatement Services Agreement" is designed to support unique mosquito control
problems that cannot be handled within the scope of this District's normal program.
It should be clearly understood that the residents of Redwood Shores will continue to
receive the same previous level of service, in addition to the extra service provided
by this agreement. San Mateo County Mosquito Abatement District personnel wi 11
continue to respond to service requests and to make routine inspections of numerous
mosquito sources found in lagoons, marshes, fish ponds, utility vaults, impounded
waters and other fresh water sources. Appropriate action will be taken to control or
eliminate these mosquito problems as they are located.

This District operates pursuant to the statutory laws relating to mosquito abatement
and pest abatement districts in the California Health and Safety Code, Division 3,
Chapters 5 and 5.5, Sections 2200-2426 inclusive.

Please sign, date and return the original copy of the "Abatement Services Agreement"
to the San Mateo County Mosquito Abatement District on or before May 5, 1989.

Sincerely,

. ,/ /
( Aé ::~--

Charles P.
