<br />3L~' <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE OF LETTER PERMIT <br />TO POST "NO PARKING" SIGNS TO PROHIBIT PARKING ON <br />CERTAIN STREETS ON AUGUST 6, 2000, DURING THE TOUR <br />DE PENINSULA <br /> <br />(SAN MATEO COUNTY PARKS AND RECREATION <br />FOUNDATION FUNDRAISER) <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE' CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain letter permit issued to The San Francisco Chronicle and <br /> <br />RhodyCo Productions to conduct the Tour de Peninsula bicycle ride in the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City and the authority to post "No Parking" signs along Brewster <br />Avenue in both directions between Duana Street and Alameda de las Plugas, <br /> <br />and on the east side of Alameda de las Plug as from Brewster Avenue to <br /> <br />Edgewood Road to prohibit parking on August 6,2000, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., in <br /> <br />the form of Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated <br /> <br />herein, is hereby approved, and the regulation _of the' public rights-ot-way <br /> <br />described therein is hereby adopted pursuant to Vehicle Code Section 21100, <br /> <br />and the Chief of Police is hereby authorized to issue said permit. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Res0-845 <br />OES:djk <br />F : IS haredlRedwoodiCouncil <br />03121/00 <br /> <br />1 <br />
