<br />'b J.1-1, <br /> <br />Task 1-5: Project Conditions <br /> <br />The site-generated traffic will be added the background traffic volwnes to represent Project <br />Conditions. Intersection level of service calculations will be conducted to estimate the operating <br />levels of the key intersections during the AM and PM peak hours after completion of the proposed <br />office building. <br /> <br />Task 1-6: Significant Impacts and Mitigation Measures <br /> <br />The impacts of the office building on the surrounding roadway system will be identified by <br />comparing the results of the level of service calculations for Background Conditions to the results <br />for Project Conditions. If significant impacts are identified, feasible mitigation measures will be <br />recommended. Measures could include physical improvements, such as adding lanes to intersections <br />or installing traffic signals, or methods to modify the traffic demand of the project, such as reducing <br />the size of the project or instituting Transportation Demand Management (TDM) measures. <br /> <br />Task 1-7: Left -Turn Pocket Storage Analysis <br /> <br />The adequacy of the left-turn pocket storage on the westbound approaches of the Brewster <br />Avenue/Arguello Street and Brewster AvenuelWarren Street intersections will be evaluated. The <br />queues in these pockets will be estimated under Project Conditions and compare4 to the existing <br />available storage. <br /> <br />Task 1-8: Cumulative Conditions <br /> <br />Traffic volwnes for cwnulative conditions will be estimated by either applying a growth rate or by <br />added traffic projections for pending developments In the area. Intersection levels of service will <br />be calculated to evaluate cwnulative development conditions. <br /> <br />Task 1-9: Documentation <br /> <br />The results of the analysis of off-site impacts will be docwnented in a report. A draft will be <br />submitted to City Staff for review. City Staff comments will be incorporated into the final report. <br />The fee estimate includes eight staff hours to respond to City staff's comments. <br /> <br />Part 2 - Site Aeçess, Parking, and On-Site Circulation <br /> <br />Task 2-1: Site Access <br /> <br />The adequacy of the nwnber and design of the driveways will be assessed.
