<br />This letter is a summary of additional work that we have performed outside of the scope of our original agreement
<br />for the Redwood Shores Parkway Widening Project.
<br />
<br />These extra work items are clearly items that were not part of our original scope but were added to the project by
<br />request of the City. and items requested to assist the City's coordination with the Electronic Arts (EA) project and
<br />shopping center project. The extra work items include:

<br />ITEM I - TRAFFIC SIGNAL MODIFICATIONS (NOT TIED TO A SITE)
<br />
<br />Item la - Traffic signal modifications at the intersection of Redwood Shores Parkway and Twin Dolphin
<br />Drive, We provided traffic signal modifications to ease the transition between the new project and the
<br />intersection of Redwood Shores Parkway and Twin Dolphin Drive, Traffic signal modification included
<br />relocation of signal heads as well as new loop detectors, relocation of pull box. and extension of conduits,
<br />We drafted up new plans and included those in our construction set for the project. The hours involved
<br />include:

<br />Item lc preparation of plats, legal descriptions and title reports for the right-of-way takes along the south side of
<br />Redwood Shores Parkway, Our original scope of work for the contract did not include preparations of plats and
<br />legal descriptions for these right-of-way takes, As the ongoing negotiations evolved with adjoining developments,
<br />Brian Kangas Foulk did two to three iterations for each of these plats and descriptions, In all we prepared five
<br />separate plats and descriptions each of which was prepared a number of times to match negotiation requirements
<br />between the City and the developers, Final copies of our plats and descriptions were delivered on May 8, 1997, The
<br />requested fee for this work was $9.187,00 broken down as follows:
