<br />EXHIBIT A: PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />The City of Santa Clara has commissioned the City of Redwood City to conduct <br />classroom training on preventing workplace harassment for its 20 Executive Management <br />Staff, 200 managers/supervisors, and its 1,000 employees. <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />METHODOLOGY <br /> <br />The following phases constitute the process the City of Redwood City will follow to <br />assure the best possible outcome: <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />Phase I: Design <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />Tasks: <br /> <br />t. <br /> <br />Identify workshop fonnat, objectives, and agenda for <br />managerial/supervisory and employee sessions. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Work with diverse Inter-Departmental Employee Project team and <br />develop course materials and content, including case studies, <br />examples, and frequently asked questions. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Develop all course materials. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />If desired by the City of Santa Clara, critique your current <br />harassment policy. <br /> <br />Phase II: Preparation for roll-out <br /> <br />Tasks: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Conduct one one-and-a-halfhour meeting with Executive <br />Management (includes Department Heads and Elected Officials) to <br />provide an executive summary, answer questions, and impart some <br />skills. (Total: 20 Executive Management members) <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Prepare employee panelists/presenters for their part in the rollout. <br /> <br />'T.~ <br />
