<br />DES.:dft .- '12/91 (048/29) <br /> <br />architects residing or working in the City of Redwood City, or <br />its sphere of influence (as described by and in the General Plan <br />of the City of Redwood City). The remaining members of t.he <br />Committee shall be residents of the City of Redwood City <br />interested in civic matters. Members of the Committee shall be <br />appointed by the City Council following oral interview and in <br />consideration of professional qualifications and such other <br />matters pertaining to civic interests as the Council deems <br />appropriate. <br />2. Terms of Membership. The first five members appointed <br />to the Committee shall serve for t.he following terms: two <br />members shall serve a term of two (2) years and three members <br />shall serve a term of three (3) years, which terms shall expire <br />on July 31, of the second and third years, respectively. <br />Thereafter, the term of office for each member of the Commi t.tee <br />shall be three (3) years expiring on July 31, in the third year. <br />3. Meetings. The Commi t.tee shall meet upon the call of <br />the Zoning Administrator of the City of Redwood City (the "Zoning <br />Administrator"). All meetings shall be open to the public and <br />governed by the provisions of the Ralph M. Brown Act, Government <br />Code Section 54950, et seq. Three members present shall <br />constitute a quorum of the Committee for the transaction of <br />business. <br />4. Officers. The Committee shall elect a chairperson who <br />shall preside at all meet.ings. The Committee may elect such <br />other officers as it deems appropriate for the conduct of its <br />business. <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />11497 <br />
