These facilities <br />are monitored with a SCADA system consisting of Allen Bradley Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), <br />Wonderware Human Machine Interface (HMI) software, and various motor control and instrumentation systems. <br />Communications to remote facilities is provided by a combination of wired circuits and wireless radio. <br />The City wishes to upgrade their communication network (s) to facilitate (1) communication to and from each <br />facility for monitoring purposes, (2) communication between selected sites that interoperate with each other, (3) <br />the flexibility to have either a common network, or segregated networks for sewer, storm, and water, (4) remote <br />diagnostics and configuration, (5) compatibility with modern TCP/IP networks, and (6) compatibility with the <br />existing network and the new network to facilitate simultaneous operation of the new system and legacy system <br />during the transition period. <br />The EDCCO Group is familiar with all of the facilities at the City of Redwood City and the equipment at each <br />facility. <br />Individuals and contacts for this proposal. <br />Eric Daniel <br />The EDCCO Group <br />195 Glenn Way, Suite 100 <br />San Carlos, California 94070 <br />(650) 63-SCADA <br />Home phone number (650) 591-7201 <br />Cell Phone 650 771-5542 <br />John C.
