5.3. Proposal Submittal Deadline and Location 6.1.A. - Page 19 <br />Proposals are due on or before Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at 3:30 p.m. The use of <br />double sided paper is encouraged. Proposer shall hand deliver or mail one (1) copy of its <br />proposal in sealed envelope to: <br />City of Redwood City <br />Attn: City Clerk <br />1017 Middlefield Road <br />Redwood City, CA 94063 <br />Sealed proposals must bear the Proposer's name and address, and be clearly marked <br />"SEALED PROPOSAL FOR ON-CALL SCADA SYSTEM MAINTENANCE AND <br />TROUBLESHOOTING DUE 3:30 P.M. WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 25." <br />Late proposals will not be considered. <br />5.4. Questions Regarding the RFP <br />Should discrepancies or omissions be found in this RFP or should there be a need to <br />clarify this RFP, questions regarding this RFP must be put in writing and received by the <br />City contact person identified in Section 16 no later than Wednesday, October 11, 2017 <br />at 3:30 p.m. Inquiries received after the date and time stated will not be accepted. <br />Any interpretations or corrections of the RFP will only be made by an addendum posted <br />online to the City's website. Such addendum shall be considered a part of the RFP and <br />must be signed and submitted with the proposal. <br />Oral interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. <br />5.5. Withdrawal of Proposals <br />Any Proposer may withdraw his or her proposal by written request, addressed to the City <br />contact specified in Section 16, at any time prior to the RFP Submittal Deadline. <br />5.6. Redwood City Business License <br />The Successful Proposer must either possess a current, valid Redwood City business <br />license or have submitted a Redwood City business license application and fee at the <br />time of contract award. Business license information (application, ordinance, fees) can <br />be found by navigating to the City of Redwood City homepage (www.redwoodcity.org) <br />and selecting "Business," "Starting a Business," "Business Licensing." <br />5.7. Oral Interviews <br />Proposers may be required to participate in an oral interview. Not all Proposers will be <br />asked to interview.
