Functional System Description � Palladium�CAD and�sio Interface Palladium0 CAD can be interfaced with Vsio diagramming software as an option to provide on-line sketches and drawings. The user may "attach" sketches to location files such as businesses or industries. The drawings may be floor plans or layouts of areas that would assist responding units in case of emergency. The interface is transparent to the User. When entering a record with an attached sketch, the user is presented with an option to draw. If they choose to produce a drawing, the system automatically displays the Vsio drawing pad and allows the user to proceed with the drawing. Palladium4 CAD Electronic lrrtaging Palladium0 CAD interfaces with�Electronic Imaging, so that photographs and documents may be "captured" and stored on the computer, attached to data files or records viewed and printed. tmages may be captured from a variety of sources, including camcorders, still cameras or scanners. The result is fast, easy and accurate. Palladium0 CAD Inferface to Mapping Palladium� CAD interfaces to E911 Mapping, one of the best and fastest "Public Safety Maps" available. This irrterface provides the ability to graphically disptay locations of incoming calls, units and other data points or symbols. The interface is transparent to the user. Data is transferred befinreen Palladium0 CAD and the mapping program. Functions are preprogrammed so that the user does not have to set up queries or perform other tasks to utilize the mapping features.
