Redwood City Police <br /> Department Statement of Work <br /> � 3.4 FIXED EQUIPMEN'T INSTALLATION <br /> 3.4.1 Motorola Responsibilities <br /> Refer to the Redwood City and Foster City sections of the SOW for <br /> descriptions of Fixed Equipment i.nstallations. The Cross site and Marlboro <br /> sites shall be installed by Motorola as part of the composite data system <br /> supplying data system coverage for all three agencies. However, subscriber <br /> installations will be addressed by separate contract to the respective agencies. <br /> 3.5 MOBILE DATA DEVICE INSTALLATION <br /> Based upon current information obtained during site walks,Motorola is <br /> proposing a standazd type mount in vehicles with split seats that can <br /> accommoda.te this type of mount. An associated standard pedestal and <br /> associated hardware will also be included for mounting of proposed MDD <br /> units. Consideration must be made for dual air bag vehicles and will be the <br /> � responsibility of Hillsborough Police Depattment�to identify and ensure that <br /> NIDD installation design does not restrict air bag inflation path Motorola <br /> wiTl provide relocation of existing radio equipment as necessary to <br /> accommodate MDD installation. A prototype NIDD installation will be <br /> completed prior to doing all MDD installations to allow for joint approval by <br /> Motorola and the City of Hillsborough on MDD installation design.. <br /> Motorola also understands tha.t Hillsborough Police Departrnent desires that <br /> the MDD installs be performed by Motorola at the Hillsborough Police _ <br /> Department location with Motorola resources. Motorola understands that the <br /> NIDDs shall be installed in a mixture of vehicle types standard law <br /> enforcement sedan-type vehicles. <br /> Motorola will coordinate with Hillsborough Police Deparlment in the transfer <br /> and scheduling of velucles for NIDD installations. NIDD installs will be done <br /> on site.
