Redwood City Police <br /> Department Acceptance Test Pian <br /> ACCEPTANCE TEST PLAN <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> This document details the Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs) that will be <br /> used by Motorola and the Redwood City Police Depart�aent to confirm that the <br /> Mobile Data System is complete and opera.tional. As mentioned in the <br /> Statement of Work section of this proposal,this method of verifying system <br /> performance includes a series of specific tests to system equipment The <br /> combination of these a�iproaches allows�for detailed and documented <br /> procedures to individuai system items as well as a general opportunity to <br /> examine overall system performance. <br /> Following each acceptance test is a statement of acceptance to be signed by <br /> Motorola and one representative of the Redwood City Police Department upon <br /> successful completion of the test. This individual from the Redwood City <br /> ' Police Department shall have the authority to grant system acceptance on <br /> behalf of both agencies. <br /> The acceptance tests included in this plan are: <br /> •:- Equipment Deliverable Verification <br /> ❖ Communication Link Verification <br /> The acceptance tests will be performed by MotQrola and witnessed by the <br /> Redwood City Police Department representative during the installation and <br /> testing phases. Each test will be performed independently using the detailed � <br /> procedures provided in this section. If a deficiency is found during a test,the <br /> deficiency, the appropriate resolution and pariy responsible for resolution shall <br /> be ideatified and documented in a"punch iist". In cases such that the defined <br /> deficiencies do not prevent productive operational use of the system,the <br /> representative of the Redwood Gity Police Depaztment will grant conditional <br /> acceptance to Motorola,and the test v�ill be accepted as successfully <br /> completed. Conditional acceptance shall aLso be granted if Redwood City <br /> Police Department Mobile Data users derive beneficial use of the system. <br /> Conditional acceptance will not relieve Redwood City Police Department or <br /> Motorola from resolving the identified deficiencies as agreed to prior to <br /> conditional acceptance. <br /> �MOTOROLA � � ' � <br />
