Scope of Work Teak 1: Kick-off Project and Prepare Project Description Task 1 begins with a kick-off meeting between CH2M HILL, City of Redwood City staff, SBSA, and Kennedy/Jenks. We will use this meeting to obtain information and project materials from the City and others as necessary. Following the meeting, we will tour the project area to become more familiar with the physical setting and environmental issues associated with the project. We will then prepare a draft project description for CEQA purposes. The project description will include all of the elements required under CEQA, including maps and graphics as necessary to Illustrate the location and components of the recycled water project. Again, we assume that KennedylJenks will provide us with the maps and graphics associated with the recycled water facilities, and we will use as many of the graphics from the Final Report as possible to avoid duplication of effort. The draft project description will be cimulated for review by the City and SBSA prior to being finalized. Meetings: One kick.off meeting and field visit. Deliverables: Draft and final project description (10 copies). Taak 2: Prepare Initial Study and Circulate IS/ND Following approval of the project description, we will prepare the draft Initial Study. Our scope assumes that we will rely on existing studies, data, and tachnlcal reports that are available from the City and other entities. These data and technical reports may include: roadway characteristics along the pipeline route (recent traffic volumes, roadway and Intersection configurations, parking/bike path locations, etc.); geotechnlcal reports; known sub-surface contamination locations; major utility locations; cultural resources surveys, etc. No new technical analyses or modeling, other than reconnaissance-level field visits, will be performed. A Phase I Environmental Site Assessment is not included In this scope of work. We will use the most current version of the Initial Study Checklist from the Governor's Office of Planning and Research. Responses will be prepared for each item on the checklist. We will submit the administrative draft Initial Study for internal review by the City and SB.SA, then attend a meeting to go over the content and conclusions in the draft IS. The City will provide a coordinated set of comments/edits to us for incorporation into a revised document, called the Screencheck IS. Following final review and comment on the Screencheck IS by the City, we will finalize the IS/ND, prepare the Notice of Completion cover sheet, and provide the required number of copies to the City. We assume the City will develop and maintain the mailing list for the IS/ND, and perform the distribution of the document, Including the copies to be sent to the State Clearinghouse. We will also provide the City with a camera-ready copy of the document, for future copying if necessary. Meetings: One meeting to discuss administrative draft IS. Deliverables: 10 copies of the administrative draft IS; 2 copies of the Screencheck IS; Notice of Completion form; 50 copies of IS~ND for distribution by the City. 2OF6
