<br />1 4.11 Containers. <br />2 <br />3 4.11.1 Residential Solid Waste Containers. Single Family Dwelling <br />4 service recipients shall provide and maintain Containers in good repair. Multi-Family <br />5 Residential Complexes shall be provided by Contractor appropriately sized Containers <br />6 (carts or bins). All carts shall be constructed of heavy gauge plastic with wheels and <br />7 attached lids. <br />8 <br />9 4.11.2 Non-Residential Solid Waste Containers. Contractor shall furnish <br />10 Commercial, Industrial and Institutional service recipients appropriate Containers to <br />11 Collect Solid Waste upon service recipient request. Containers with a capacity of one <br />12 cubic yard or more shall be available in standard sizes. The kind, size and number of <br />13 Containers furnished to particular service recipients shall be as determined mutually by <br />14 the service recipient and Contractor. All Containers with a capacity of one cubic yard <br />15 or more shall meet applicable regulations for Solid Waste bin safety and shall have <br />16 reflectorized markings. All Containers shall be maintained in good repair with neatly <br />17 and uniformly painted surfaces and shall prominently display the name and telephone <br />18 number of Contractor and the types of material accepted. <br />19 <br />20 4.11.3 Residential Recyclable Material and Plant Materials Containers. <br />21 Residential service recipients shall place their Recyclable Materials in the Contractor- <br />22 provided Recycling Containers for collection by Contractor. Extra Containers shall be <br />23 provided to service recipients upon request. <br />24 <br />25 Residents shall place their Plant Materials in Contractor- provided 64, or <br />26 96 gallon Containers for Collection by Contractor. <br />27 <br />28 4.11.4 Commercial, Industrial and Institutional Recyclable Materials <br />29 Containers. Contractor shall furnish Commercial, Industrial and Institutional service <br />30 recipients Containers for the Collection of materials described in Section 4.03.2 of a size <br />31 appropriate to the particular service recipient's needs and availability of space. <br />32 Multiple sizes shall be made available by Contractor. <br />33 <br />34 4.11.5 Delivery. Appropriate containers as described in this Section 4.11 <br />35 shall be delivered to new service recipients within five (5) business days of the service <br />36 recipient's request for service. Contractor shall notify Agency if it fails to deliver <br />37 Containers within five (5) business days. <br />38 <br />39 4.11.6 Container Replacement. Agency and Contractor acknowledge that <br />40 from time to time Contractor-provided Containers may be stolen or damaged. When <br />41 notified of such occurrence, Contractor shall replace the stolen Container(s), at no <br />42 charge to the service recipient, not more than one (1) time within any twelve (12) month <br />43 period.
