Kiwanis could prob- <br />ably give financial help on the project. Mr. Knecht <br />suggested a gymnasium for R.C. be considered. Mr. <br />Morton stated that he felt there were enough facilities <br />available at our various high schools. <br /> <br />Mr. Knecht urged consideration be given for a municipal <br />golf course in the City. <br /> <br />Commissioner Stuart: Suggested possible inclusion be <br />considered in the new recreation building plans for a <br />hi-fi room or a room devoted to the history of tape, <br />etc., with recorders, a tape library and sound being <br />piped throughout the building. Suggested possible <br />interest by Ampex Corp. in such a room. <br /> <br />Commissioner Sipes: Reported on S.M.Co. Reqional Plan- <br />ing Committee - Waterways Sub-committee meeting of Au~. <br />12th: <br /> <br />Said <br /> <br />members felt that the plan for tidal barriers in the So.
