County Regional Planning Committee had adopted a set of standards on Waterways. COMMISSIONER WHITMORE: Advised that he had written a thank you letter to R.C. Kiwanis for their offer to contribute $1000 to install a kids fishing pier at the Marina. Chairman Beals advised that Kiwanian H. Coeh10 would spearhead cooperation between other Kiwanis Clubs for any extra money needed - total cost of project being estimated at around $2,000. COMMISSIONER THOMPSON: Requested stenographic services again be provided for Commission minutes as it was impossible to take minutes, participate in meetings, give reports and handle correspondence. On motion of Commiss- ioner Whitmore, seconded by Commissioner Stuart, and passed, letters were ordered written to the Planning Commission and the City Council recommending that the City take advantage of AB 1150, Chapter 1809, when consideration is being given to new sub-divisions.
