Balzarini provided picture of IISuper Secur" restroom with pitched roof and shingled which would conform to neighboring construction. Mr. Balzarini noted that funds are allocated in the presønt budget ($8,900) for this facility. Commissioner Stuart moved to approve the restroom design for Mezes Park- that of a building with a pitched type roof with shingles which would fit in with the neighborhood, and to recommend to Council that as funds are presently allocated in the 1969-7e budget in the amount of $8,900 that bids be called for the project so that installation can be made at the earliest possible time, seconded by Commissioner Thompson, and passed, Commissioners Coffis and Morgan being noted absent. 5 - PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT - Redwood Peninsula - NEIGHBORHOOD PARK #1 - Park Supt. Balzarini: ~IT. Balzarini said Commissioners Knecht and Thompson had gone with him to this site, and that by November 1st the park maint- enance would be turned over to his dpt., and that $13,000 has been allocated in the present budget for playground equipment for the area, and asked that a Commission committee be appoint- ed to work with him in the selecting of equipment. Chairman Knecht appointed Commissioner Schenck, chairman, and Commissioner Stuart to this committee. ~ir. Schenck will call meeting, as chairman, and report back at the September meeting.
