Thirty (30) sets of half size plans (11" x 17") and <br />draft special provisions will be provided for Caltrans and City review. <br /> <br />TASK 5 - FINAL PS&E SUBMITTAL <br /> <br />95% PS&E Submittal <br /> <br />This phase incorporates comments from the 65% PS&E submittal and produces plans and <br />specifications for Caltrans and City final review. Written responses to Caltrans review <br />comments will be prepared and submitted with the 95% PS&E submittal. Thirty (30) sets <br />of half size plans (11" x 17") and special provisions will be provided for Caltrans and <br />City review. <br /> <br />An internal Quality Control check will be made and comments incorporated prior to <br />submittal to Caltrans and T A for final review. <br /> <br />Engineer's Estimate will be revised based on an updated quantity takeoff. <br /> <br />100% PS&E Submittal <br /> <br />Comments from the 95% review will be incorporated to produce the final PS&E for <br />Caltrans and City review and approval. Written responses to Caltrans review comments <br />will be prepared and submitted with the final PS&E submittal. Any comments will be <br />addressed and the bid documents produced. The signed full size reproducible vellums <br />will be submitted to the City of Belmont for bidding. The City of Belmont will produce <br />all bid sets. It is assumed that submittal of electronic files to Caltrans in .DGN fonnat <br />will not be required. . <br /> <br />MTCo will prepare the Standard Encroachment Pennit Application (signed by the City of <br />Belmont) for the construction within State right of way and submit it with five sets of full <br />size plans and specifications. The City will prepare and submit applications for all other <br />pennits that may be ~equired, including Anny Corps, Fish & Game. MTCo will provide <br />assistance to the City in preparing the applications and will prepare any exhibits that may <br />be needed. <br /> <br />The City will be responsible for the preparation of and submittal to Caltrans the Right of <br />Way Certification and Right of Way Sufficiency Certification, and Utility Clearance <br />Certification. <br /> <br />The Resident Engineer's File will be prepared and submitted to the City prior to start of <br />construction The Survey File will be prepared and wilJ !Dclude copies of all survey notes <br />and calculations for control lines and right of way, slope stake listing, rough grade <br />construction, finish grades, and cross sections. <br /> <br />City of Belmo//l - Rowe !
