Chairman Knecht said such plans had been approved by Commission. Mr. Balzarini will give Mr. Ullrich the approved plans. Commissioner stuart indicated that the Sunrise Lions ClUb were happy with their prior committment and are IIready, willing and ablell to help again and should be contacted by Mr. Balzarini re amount of money needed and what they can do. Chairman Knecht suggested a letter be sent to Mr. Hubert Bourland acknowledging their offer and asking them to contact us. Mr. Knecht had been delegated to represent the Commission but had not been advised of recent meetings. Mr. Knecht said that the area needs at least two mini parks and that a meeting should be set up with county as need is greatest in the county area and perhaps City could help operate them after they are installed. Mr. Ullrich said that this is an identical problem with the BUD community center project; that by charter, we cannot spend money in an unincorporated area but if county did obtain the park site ~ and develop it perhaps a joint participation agreement could be worked out whereby we could contribute staff services to this type facili-ty¡ that Board of Supervisors should have total information to make them aware of proposals but perhaps meeting should be had with the county manager first to explain plans. Commissioner Whitmore told of the student survey made by GAP student, Joe Ziganto, which points.up urgent need for facilities for area.
