<br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />NOVEMBER 29, 1999 <br /> <br />CIT )F REDWOOD CITY <br />EAST BA YSHORE ROAD WIDENING <br /> <br />field visits with City Landscape personnel to identify visually apparent conflicts, provide <br />recommendations and advise CONSULTANT on how to best address the design solutions on the <br />plans and specifications. <br /> <br />CONSULTANT shall prepare a written response letter to address comments received from the <br />95% agency reviews. Upon resolution of issues at this point, the final PS&E and contract <br />documents will be prepared. <br /> <br />CONSUL T ANT's 95% and final plan submittals shall include the following items: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Title Sheet <br />Typical Sections and Notes <br />Plan and profile sheets (1 "=20') <br />Detail Sheets (2 maximum) <br />Specifications based on CITY's and or Caltrans Standard Special Provisions <br />Engineers' Estimate - prepared in final Bid List format. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CONSUL T ANT shall prepare the original drawings in accordance with the CITY's drafting <br />standards and formats. Two full size sets of plans, two reduced size (11" x 17") sets of plans, <br />one set of full-size (24" x 36") mylar reproducibles, two sets of Specifications and the Estimate, <br />one Specification original and one Estimate original will be delivered by CONSULTANT to the <br />CITY at the completion of the design phase of the project. In addition, CONSULTANT shall <br />deliver the plans and specifications to the CITY electronically in AutoCAD V.14 (plans) and <br />Microsoft Word (specifications) format. <br /> <br />CITY will provide Consultant with CITY Standard boilerplate in electronic format - Microsoft <br />Word for Windows 95. <br /> <br />Consultant shall edit Sections, as needed, and prepare the Technical specifications. <br /> <br />TASK 5: <br /> <br />CONSTRUCTION BID AND AWARD SUPPORT <br /> <br />CONSUL T ANT shall assist the CITY during the construction bidding period by responding to <br />technical questions relative to the plans, specifications and quantities. If requested, <br />CONSUL T ANT shall prepare clarification in addendum format and shall secure the approval of <br />the CITY. All bidder's correspondence shall be directed to the CITY, who will request <br />information from the CONSULTANT as needed. <br /> <br />(TASKS 6-8 ARE NOT A PART OF THIS PROPOSED SCOPE AND FEE.
