AGENDA ITEM I - Review and Discussion - Status of Watershed Park , 'L Develo~ment~ of Crys~al Lak~ Mr. Weeks indicated that Mr. Paulson had attended all the Watershed Development meetings during the past few months and would bring the Commission up-to-date on the latest developments. The Watershed Development plans were borrowed from the County and displayed for the Commission. Mr. Paulson gave a presentation on the latest developments including some of the constraints and difficulties the County is facing along with some of the planning problems. He stated the meetings were held to help organize citizen input to the new Committee working on recreational planning for a 4,000 acre section of the San Francisco Water- shed lying east of the Crystal Springs Lake. Chairman Guida thanked Mr. Paulson for keeping the Commission abreast of the situation. REPORTS Commissioner Weintraub reminded the Commission that the reason for including written Committee reports in the Commission packet was to allow Commissioners' to review the reports prior to the meeting and, therefore, reduce discussion time to a minimum. REPORT ITEM 1 - .Qpen Space Committil~e Reporrt Commissioner Pound asked that, in reference to the City/School Liaison Committee meetings, if it would be beneficial for the Commission to send a representative to attend and report. Mr. Weeks mentioned that he was sure they were welcome to monitor these meetings; however, someone from the Staff was usually represented. . Chairman Guida suggested that if the Staff representative noted something that would affect a particular Committee, if that representative would mind making a report to the Committee. Mr. Weeks indicated this would be done. MOTION: Commissioner Schenck moved, seconded by Commissioner Rollins, to accep,t the Open Space Connnittee Report. The motion carried unanimously by voice vote. REPORT ITEM 2 - Program Co~ittee R~ort MOTION: Commissioner Weintraub moved, seconded by Commissioner Pound that the Program Committee Report be accepted. The motion carried unanimously by voice vote. REPORT ITEM 3 - ~erational Po!~cies Committee Re~ort MOTION: Commissioner Rollins moved, seconded by Commissioner Weintraub, to accept the Operational Policies Committee Report. The motion carried unanimously by voice vote.
