<br />,~~. ~:'9 3 <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEMS <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEM I - Review and Discussion - Status of Watershed Park <br /> <br />, 'L <br /> <br />Develo~ment~ of Crys~al Lak~ <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Weeks indicated that Mr. Paulson had attended all the Watershed Development <br />meetings during the past few months and would bring the Commission up-to-date <br />on the latest developments. The Watershed Development plans were borrowed from <br />the County and displayed for the Commission. Mr. Paulson gave a presentation <br />on the latest developments including some of the constraints and difficulties <br />the County is facing along with some of the planning problems. He stated the <br />meetings were held to help organize citizen input to the new Committee working <br />on recreational planning for a 4,000 acre section of the San Francisco Water- <br />shed lying east of the Crystal Springs Lake. <br /> <br />Chairman Guida thanked Mr. Paulson for keeping the Commission abreast of the <br />situation. <br /> <br />REPORTS <br /> <br />Commissioner Weintraub reminded the Commission that the reason for including <br />written Committee reports in the Commission packet was to allow Commissioners' <br />to review the reports prior to the meeting and, therefore, reduce discussion <br />time to a minimum. <br /> <br />REPORT ITEM 1 - .Qpen Space Committil~e Reporrt <br /> <br />Commissioner Pound asked that, in reference to the City/School Liaison <br />Committee meetings, if it would be beneficial for the Commission to send <br />a representative to attend and report. Mr. Weeks mentioned that he was sure <br />they were welcome to monitor these meetings; however, someone from the <br />Staff was usually represented. . Chairman Guida suggested that if the Staff <br />representative noted something that would affect a particular Committee, <br />if that representative would mind making a report to the Committee. Mr. <br />Weeks indicated this would be done. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Commissioner Schenck moved, seconded by Commissioner Rollins, <br />to accep,t the Open Space Connnittee Report. <br /> <br />The motion carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />REPORT ITEM 2 - Program Co~ittee R~ort <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Commissioner Weintraub moved, seconded by Commissioner Pound <br />that the Program Committee Report be accepted. <br /> <br /> <br />The motion carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />REPORT ITEM 3 - ~erational Po!~cies Committee Re~ort <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Commissioner Rollins moved, seconded by Commissioner Weintraub, <br />to accept the Operational Policies Committee Report. <br /> <br />The motion carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />
