<br />4. Term <br />The term of this Agreement shall commence on March 18,1997, and shall expire on June 17,1997, <br />unless this Agreement is sooner terminated. <br /> <br />5, Termination <br />Either party may terminate this Agreement without cause upon giving the other party not less than two <br />(2) weeks prior written notice. The City may upon delivery or receipt of the termination notice, at its <br />option and sole discretion, request that Contract Employee either (1) continue to render the services <br />described in Exhibit "Att until the date of termination or (2) immediately cease the performance of any <br />or all of the services described in Exhibit "A." Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, Contract <br />Employee shall, upon Notice of Termination deliver to City a written status report of all projects or <br />matters in which Contract Employee is involved. Regardless of whether Contract Employee rendered <br />services during the termination period, Contract Employee shall be entitled to the payment of two (2) <br />weeks regular compensation pursuant to paragraph 3 above. <br /> <br />In the event of such termination, all rights and obligations of the parties hereto shall therefore cease, <br />except as to vacation hours which may have accrued or have been incurred prior to the date of <br />termination. The provisions of this paragraph shall not be deemed a limitation upon the respective <br />rights or remedies of the parties hereto which may accrue to them, <br /> <br />6.
