Public Hearing - House Moving Permit <br />(See above) <br /> <br />Building Official Malkemus stated he had met with nine residents of the area <br />where the subject house is proposed to be roved and used a transparency to <br />illustra te the planned placement of the house on the lot. <br />i <br /> <br />Discussion followed and Mr. Malkemus replied to questions regarding whether <br />any landscaping and naintenance conditions may be imposed on a single-family <br />dwelling. <br /> <br />Sylvia Knecht, 1720 Valota Road, stated that residents of Kansas Court did not <br />receive notice. (NOTE: Notice was sent to Mrs. Knecht.) <br /> <br />Jim Knecht, 1720 Valota Road, said he believes the City can require <br />landscap ing. <br /> <br />Sylvia Knecht (see above) reported that the prospective resident of the house <br />to be moved has trucks and equipment which he might park there. <br /> <br />Tom Gutierriez (see above) requested that Council deny the subject <br />application, stating that among his other objections, the house is too old for <br />the neighborhood. <br /> <br />Mabel Bell (see above) said she opposes granting the application. <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Britschgi asked anyone else present who wished to speak to do so. <br />No one wished to speak. <br /> <br />MIS: Biagi/Rhodes to close the public hearing. <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote and public hearing closed at 9: 20 p. m. <br /> <br />M/S: Biagi/Mosher to deny the application of William Mee for Housing Moving <br />Permit to rove a house from 1003 Woodside Road to 1714 Valota Road because of <br />detrimental effect upon the neighborhood. <br />Carried unanimously by roll call vote.
