Request of San Mateo County Mosquito Abatement District <br />for designation of representative to the Board of <br />Trustees of the District <br /> <br />In response to questions~ City Manager Smith and City Attorney Schricker <br />advised that the representative need not be a Council member, although the <br />present representative~ Marguerite Leipzig~ was a member when appointed. <br />Mr. Smith stated that the District is a small one with a very effective <br />record and that the representative could be asked to report on District <br />activities from time to time, if Council wished. <br /> <br />CONSENSUS: Mayor Stangel determined that it is the consensus of Council <br />that he ask Marguerite Leipzig, the present City representative to the <br />Board of Trustees of the Mosquito Abatement District~ if she is willing to <br />accept appointment to another term and report back on November 15, 1982. <br />(Memo 11/9/82) <br /> <br />I I <br /> <br />10.
