<br />PAGE 6 <br />Emergency Management <br />Policy Plan <br /> <br />2.3.5 PLANS SECTION-The Pre-Emergency Planning before, the Situation <br />Status and Resources Status monitoring and contingency or <br />anticipatory planning during, and the Recovery planning after <br />an emergency or disaster shall be the responsibility of the <br />Plans Section: <br /> <br />. The City Engineer shall be the Plans Section Chief and <br />Section team leader. The Deputy Section Chief and <br />alternates shall be per the attached Emergency <br />Organization Chart and Matrix (see Appendix). <br /> <br />. Field inspectors from Building and Engineering shall <br />report through Plans. <br /> <br />. The Plans Section shall support the Operations <br />Section in the Emergency Operations Center. <br /> <br />2.3.6 LOGISTICS SECTION-The provision of equipment, supply, <br />materials, facilities, community volunteers, personnel, <br />purchasing and finance resources to the Operations Section <br />is the responsibility of the Logistics Section. <br /> <br />. The Director of Parks, Recreation and Community <br />Services shall be the Chief and team leader of the <br />Logistics Section. <br /> <br />. The Deputy Section Chief and alternates shall be per <br />the Emergency Organization Chart and Matrix (see <br />Appendix). <br /> <br />. The Logistics Section shall support the Operations <br />Section in the Emergency Operations Center. <br /> <br />2.3..7 DEPARTMENTS-All City Departments are to develop their Depart- <br />ment Emergency Plan per this Policy Statement.. The Depart- <br />ment Plan shall include but not be limited to: assignment of <br />every individual employee under the Disaster/Emergency <br />Organization; reporting procedures, phone numbers, locations <br />for all employees; emergency call-in and call-back procedures; <br />identification cards; records protection, or duplicate or <br />redundant copies of essential records; communications <br />procedures and alternates; equipment and supplies; security <br />and work site safety; employee orientation and training; <br />and other issues deemed necessary by the Department Head. <br /> <br />11402 <br />
