Staff
has found the field needs nutrients and is not ready for use at this time.
Garfield project will go out to bid in April and construction will begin in June.
Hoover project is in the design phase and Fair Oaks project is still planned for
the future.

-Adopt-A-Park
Chairperson Joseph reported that she, Superintendent Hover, Parks Manager
Mike Gibbons and two representatives from the various Adopt-A-Park groups
met on February 21 to discuss the program. It was decided that the group
would follow up with meeting every six months at the park. Chairperson
Joseph stated that NorthStar, MIT and Unitarian Universalist Church have all
adopted Stafford Park. Because the Church does weekly clean ups of
Stafford Park, NorthStar and MIT have decided to adopt Mezes Park.

-Windmill Project
Chairperson Joseph announced the next meeting of the windmill group is
scheduled for Thursday, March 8 at 7: OOpm at the CAB. A website is also
being created for the project.

-Spinas Park
Superintendent Hover announced that Tim Gilbert is now the project
manager for this project.
